This garden tour is all about what you don’t see. It’s about what isn’t here but could be. It’s about taking the best of the past and bringing it into the future with some TLC. This is the type of place I would love to buy. Perhaps you’ll see the potential I see.
This old stone house is one minute from the city. It’s situated on several acres and surrounded by farms on the edge of town. The photo actually shows the back door. The entire house is built on an elevation:
I love old outbuildings. With a chunk of cash they can become something wonderful:
My kingdom for all these barn boards and stones:
Tons and tons of organic veg gardens have been started:
A labyrinth has been formed:
The rest of the gardens are young borders. But when you’re on this property, there’s nothing but the wind in the old trees and lots of birds singing and flying about and fighting as only birds can do.
It’s a huge opportunity to create a wonderful home and garden. I hope it ends up on another tour about ten years from now so we can see what they’ve done with it.
