If you look closely, it looks like they slapped on some pieces of sod moments before shooting the scene, but I still like it. What once represented cheap and poor, is now smart and trendy.
Green roofs help retain heat in the cold weather and cool buildings in warmer weather. They are very heavy and the building has to be designed to carry the weight load. In other words, plan the project properly with a trained engineer or you may have a disaster on your hands when it caves in.
