Oven Roasted Asparagus
A good basic recipe for making roasted asparagus spears in the oven. Get those tips slightly crispy and enjoy with the recommended toppings.

Asparagus

olive oil

Silicone baking mats
Instructions
Heat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line baking sheet with silicone baking mats or parchment paper.
Wash and dry asparagus spears and remove any woody ends.
1 pound Asparagus
Place spears in single layer on lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil and dash of salt.
2 tablespoons olive oil,
1 teaspoon Salt
Roast for approximately 10-20 minutes (depends on thickness) until desired tenderness reached (when fork inserts easily).
Serve warm.
Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge up to 4 days. Freezing not recommended.
To reheat, bring to room temperature, then warm gently in toaster oven or frying pan. Can also microwave.
