Creative Winter Garden Art & Dรฉcor Ideas

Years ago, I asked some friends to share favorite DIY winter garden art ideas from their gardens. And what a lovely collection!
If the tutorials are available online, I have linked to them below.
I hope you find some inspiration for your snowy garden.
Winter Garden Wreaths
Make a wreath, decorate a wreath, or make a snowman wreath!

Winter Dรฉcor

This (above) is how I transition my shed decorations into a winter theme. The window box is filled with evergreens, a berry wreath adorns the door, giant snowflake decorations hang from the old gate, and lights line the roof line.
In this next photo, Karen the Garden Chick uses her porch to set a scene. The red theme is really eye catching with the white brick:

These ice decorations hang from my mini greenhouse:

- Ice Decorations | These decorations are pretty in the winter sun and the birds enjoy the fruit as the ice melts.
Winter Lights
Winter lights are essential! I like really subtle ones that glow like moonlight.

I attached four metal wall planters together and added strings of outdoor lights. Itโs up on our garden arbor in the winter.

I love your Website… very informative..I know I will get the correct information because you go to University sources and Journals. I also love seeing pictures of other people’s gardens who have done the work themselves not by professional landscapers.. you always can tell.
When I have time I like listening to your Husband’s Garden stories. Sometimes I even make my Husband listen to them because they are so interesting. Lol!!
Happy Holidays to you and your Familyโบ๏ธ

Hi Lorri,
What a lovely note. We work hard to be factual and relatable so your words mean a lot.
Happy Holidays to you and those you love as well!
