Learn to Propagate Plants

Mango fruit and tree (houseplant)

Have you seen those articles online that say if you learn to regrow your produce you’ll never have to buy fruits and veggies again?

It’s misleading.

While you can grow more leaves on celery stalks and carrot tops—and it’s fun to try—you won’t be putting your grocery store out of business!

What we are focusing on here are some popular fruits and veggies that can be regrown as indoor plants.

If you end up with ripe oranges on your little tree—that would be a total bonus but don’t expect it.

The goal is to learn propagation and get free plants.

What’s in the Book

Kitchen Propagation Handbook

The tutorials in this book are designed to get you comfortable with propagation—growing new plants from the ones you have—and encourage you to continue growing the parts of fruits and vegetables we normally discard.

What you will get is a variety of different houseplants in containers:

  • Trees (avocado, citrus, mango, pineapple)
  • Plants (ginger and bulbing onions)
  • Vines (tomatoes)

Will they produce fruit or veggies?

Not likely but not impossible. It will depend on what you’re growing and the growing conditions. You’ll learn more about this in the book.

What you will get are houseplants grown from scratch and a whole new regrowing hobby.

Ever since my tomato cuttings grew into vines that produced full-size tomatoes—at my dining room window with no extra lighting—I know there is always a possibility of fruit production.

But even without fruit, I love these houseplants I have grown myself.

New to Ebooks or Digital Files?

What is an Ebook?

  • Ebooks are documents (digital files) you read on your computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
  • Ebooks are generally not intended for printing (images may not be full resolution or, conversely, may use up a lot of printer ink) but you can, if you prefer, create a hard copy. They are perfect for viewing portable devices like phones, tablets, and laptops.
  • Empress of Dirt ebooks and free how-to files are in PDF format.
  • This means you use Adobe Reader to read it. Adobe Reader may already be on your device or you can get it free here.
  • The copyrighted file is yours to read and enjoy forever—just like a single copy of printed book.

How to Save Ebooks (and Any Digital Files)

  • Click the blue button. A checkout screen will appear. Fill it in and you will receive a download link by email.
  • We never spam. Your email is required for this transaction only.
  • From the email, download the file and save it on your device—watch where it saves to so you know where to find it.
  • You are welcome to print it out or simply view it on your device (phone, tablet, desktop) and it is yours to keep.

If you have ever wanted to get into seed starting or other plant propagation methods, this is a good place to start.

Everything can be done indoors and it’s a great way to continue gardening throughout the year.

Hang onto to those food scraps and let’s make some houseplants!
